public class CoverageFileProperties
extends ImageFileProperties

A panel showing the properties of a coverage file. This widget is similar to ImageFileProperties, except that it uses a GridCoverageReader for loading the image instead than an ImageReader.

CoverageFileProperties

public CoverageFileProperties()

Creates a new instance of ImageFileProperties with no image. One of setImage(...) methods must be invoked in order to set the properties source.

Method Detail

setImageInput

public void setImageInput(Object input)
                   throws IOException

Sets the specified coverage reference as the source of metadata and thumbnails. This method accepts the following kind of inputs:

• GridCoverageReference
• GridCoverageReader with its input set (see Resources management below).
• ImageReader with its input set (see Resources management below).
• Paths as File, URL, etc.

Resources management
If an GridCoverageReader or ImageReader is given to this method, and if the reader uses an Image Input Stream or other kind of closeable input, then note that this method does not close such input. It is caller responsibility to close the reader input after this method call.

Parameters:

input - The image input.

Throws:

IOException - If the file is not found, or no suitable image reader is found for the given input, or if an error occurred while reading the metadata or the thumbnails.
